Repro becomes first print firm in India to invest in a Prosper

Kodak Asia (Hall 5 / Stand F09) is surging ahead at Drupa with a multi-million dollar deal to Repro India, a leading book printer from India.

The Repro India team was present at the Kodak stall to finalise Kodak Prosper 1000 Press with IOS (Image Optimiser Station) and Hunkler finishing system as part of a complete solution which includes, Prinergy workflow solution, Trendsetter 800 and a Digimaster 150.

The purchase of equipment from Kodak is a part of Repro India’s strategy to become a one-stop solution for the publisher, right from managing the content to production to fulfillment.

Repro India has etched a success story in the print industry for digital printing with its print-on-demand model.

Rajeev Vohra, director of Repro India said, “Prosper 1000 press will enable us to cater to the increasing demand from our customers to produce shorter print runs. It increases our threshold of supplying 500 digitally printed books to the desired requirements of 2,000 books.”
