The Kodak India Kick-off Meeting, 2014 saw the Kodak Family from the India Cluster come together at the picturesque Waterstones Hotel in Mumbai from February 12 to 14, 2014. The focus of the three-day event was aligned to train customer-facing teams about Kodak’s product portfolio across varied segments that Kodak caters to – Commercial and Transactional, Newspaper, Publishing & Packaging – their value propositions and winning applications coupled with workflow solutions; to communicate with channel partners the way forward for 2014 and understand their needs in order to provide them distinctive value that transcends into profitable growth for the customer; to reinforce the robust yet agile NEW Kodak as a leading technology company focused on Commercial Imaging; and to convey the message of working as an energetic, cohesive unit – a TEAM – for achieving best results.
The event was made even more special with the presence of Kodak’s regional leaders – Mr. Lois Lebegue (MD, Asia Pacific Region, Eastman Kodak Company), Mr. Gustavo Oviedo (MD & Chief Customer Officer, Emerging Geographies and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company), Mr. Oscar Planas (MD, INSEA Cluster, Packaging Director and Vice President APR, Eastman Kodak Company) and Mr. Adrian Fleming (APR Business Manager, Digital Printing Systems, Eastman Kodak Company). A salient highlight was the ‘Channel Recognition and Employee Awards’ coupled with a grand dinner and Indian traditional dress-code – an evening to honor channel partners and celebrate employee wins along with fun building activities.
On the final day of the event we had an external expert for the first time ever, Mr. Ramu Ramanathan, Group Editor, Haymarket Media as a key-note speaker at the Kodak India Kick-off Meeting, 2014. A familiar face and expert in the Indian print industry, Ramu shared his opinions on current trends in the Indian printing industry. The information presented in his unique mannerism, brought to the audience a notable clarity to go forward with in 2014.
